Who we are
PhotoGenieBooths is a photo booth hire business based in Derby, serving London, the Midlands and the rest of the UK. For anything in this policy, contact us at bookings@photogeniebooths.co.uk or on 07769 612453.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use the date checker, the chat, or a form, we collect what you type: your name, email address, phone number, event date, type of event, venue or town, guest numbers, package interest and any message.
- Date checks. When you check a date, the date is sent to our server to look up availability. We do not keep a record of date checks unless you go on to send us an enquiry.
- Where you came from. If you arrive from one of our adverts, the campaign details in the link (for example utm_source or an ad click ID) are kept in your browser for that visit only and attached to your enquiry, so we know which advert worked.
- Newsletter. If you sign up to our offers, we collect your email address.
How we use it
- To reply to you, check availability, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, manage your booking. This is necessary to take steps at your request before a contract.
- To contact you about the enquiry you sent us. We never sell your details.
- To send offers by email only if you asked for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand which of our adverts and pages bring us enquiries (our legitimate interest in running our business).
Who handles it for us
- Web3Forms delivers your enquiry from the website to our email inbox.
- Our email and calendar providers store the enquiries we receive and our diary.
- Hostinger hosts this website.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
These providers only act on our instructions, or, for Google Fonts, receive the technical request your browser makes.
Cookies and tracking
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. If we add them in future we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and, if you book, for our business and accounting records. Ask us and we will delete your details sooner, unless we are legally required to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email bookings@photogeniebooths.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
